Ruthie Dean is the co-author of Real Men Don’t Text: A New Approach to Dating with her husband, Michael. The couple met on their neighborhood baseball field as children, but didn’t fall in love until they were reintroduced after 15 years apart.
Ruthie writes about healthy relationships–believing that a life overflowing with joy stems from a healthy relationship with men, with our friends and family, with our bodies, and with our past. Offering her own story as a well of healing for others, she challenges her readers to live courageously, trust furiously, love humbly, forgive radically, and grant mercy abundantly.
After graduating from Vanderbilt with her B.A. in Communications Studies and Psychology, Ruthie’s passion for people led her across the world to China. Studying Mandarin and living in a radically opposite culture remains the most influential time in her life and inspires much of her writing.
Ruthie’s writing has appeared on Fox News, Christianity Today, Relevant, Prodigal Magazine, The Angelos, The Good Women Project, and other print and online publications.
